Passport to Employment (P2E) has joined the ranks of other local businesses sponsoring Pontypridd RFC.
In announcing the new partnership, P2E’s Director Dave Williams stated: "We are honoured to offer our support via sponsorship for Pontypridd RFC, as the club has a great reputation in developing strong and lasting links with local businesses.
"Our sponsorship will enable P2E to benefit from the hospitality and advertising properties this great club has to offer."
P2E was established in August 2016. Based in the centre of Pontypridd the company has a strong presence throughout RCT delivering a wide range of training that has rapidly extended throughout south east Wales. P2E supports businesses in the private, public and voluntary sector to up-skill their workforce via the wide range or courses available.
P2E also provides free training for eligible unemployed adults via the Employability Skills Programme funded by the Welsh Government and the ESF programme Bridges into Work. P2E also links unemployed people with businesses and recruitment agencies to secure employment after the courses they have completed, as too often people who are trained do not obtain proper help to secure work. P2E sees progression into work as being an essential part of what they do when they train unemployed people.
P2E’s training opportunities include a wide range of health and safety courses such as CSCS for construction sites, COSHH, security including stewarding, fire safety, food hygiene, manual handling and may others much in demand by employers and also for unemployed people who need these courses to secure employment.
P2E also recently launched a range of on-line courses to help employers and employees avoid costly periods away from the workplace. These courses can be accessed from a PC at home, the workplace or a library allowing training at a time and place that is convenient to the employee and the employer. There are currently four suites of on-line courses that P2E offers:- Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.
